Making Parties

We hosted a few craft afternoons to make items to sell at our school's Holiday Tree sale. The barrettes were great-- my crew of 5-9 year olds designed them with vintage buttons and little craft yo-yo's (also know as a Suffolk Puff:). I found a few unopened packs of these at a thrift shop and knew they'd present a use at some point!

I ended up sewing the little pouches (from vintage fabrics) mostly myself. They were too time-consuming for beginner sewers, and the kids wanted to keep the ones they had made.
