1825: Settlement Day

The cherry tree threw us a bone by being in full bloom the day we settled on the house. A huge thanks to some tenacious settlement attorneys at Avenue Title for taking on the deed. We heard later that there was a city-wide warning circulating between settlement agencies to consider steering clear of the houses in this auction!
